Introduction:
This three-day training course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to design a VMware vSphere 7 virtual infrastructure. You follow a proven approach to design a virtualization solution that is available, scalable, manageable, recoverable, and secure, and that uses VMware best practices. This course discusses the benefits and risks of available design alternatives and provides information to support making sound design decisions.

This course is intended primarily for:
- Experienced system integrators and consultants responsible for designing and deploying vSphere environments
Pre-requisites:
This course requires completion of the following prerequisites:
- VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage v7
- VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale v7
Course objectives:
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the business objectives for the vSphere environment
- Identify business requirements, constraints, assumptions, and risks for all layers in the vSphere environment
- Apply a framework to a design
- Analyze design choices and best-practice recommendations
- Create a design that ensures availability, manageability, performance, recoverability, and security

The VMware vSphere: Design v7 course prepares students towards achieving VCAP-DCV Design certification. VCAP-DCV Design is designed for IT architects who design and integrate VMware solutions in multi-site, large enterprise, virtualized environments.
Successful candidates possess a deep understanding of datacenter design principles and methodologies, as well as VMware core components and their relation to storage and networking. Successful candidates also have broad knowledge of applications and infrastructure services, and how they relate and integrate with the virtual infrastructure.
On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Torque IT attendance certificate
