Introduction
The Supporting Cisco Devices for Field Technicians (FLDTEC) training teaches you knowledge and skills related to on-site replacement of Cisco technologies across routing, switching, data center, unified computing system (UCS), and collaboration platforms. This includes hardware identification, cabling, configuration backup and restoration, and software upgrades/downgrades.
This training prepares you for the 800-150 FLDTEC 1.0v exam. If passed, you earn the Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) Field Technician certification.

- Identify the interfaces and replaceable components in Cisco Meraki switches as well as follow tasks when replacing the switch itself
- Identify the main product series, field replaceable units, and management platforms for Cisco Secure Firewall devices and Cisco ASR routers
- Identify the high-level steps for replacing Cisco collaboration endpoints and hardware components
- Locate key network devices and their function in a common data center topology
- Indicate which data center components are virtualized in a common data center topology
- Match the UCS devices to their common placement in a customer network
- Match UCS management tools to their common use case
- Identify the high-level steps for replacing Cisco Nexus and MDS switches their field replaceable units
- Identify the configuration steps required in NX-OS when replacing data center network devices
