Introduction

You have installed and administered Windows Server 2012. Windows Server has many advanced settings and services such as for DNS, DHCP, domains, forests and AD RMS. By configuring these advanced settings, you can manage the network infrastructure efficiently. In this course, you will configure advanced services within Windows Server 2012.

Target Student: This course is designed for IT professionals who have System Administration experience, who can implement, manage, and maintain a Windows Server (Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012) infrastructure at the enterprise level, and who want to gain the skills and knowledge required to carry out advanced management and provisioning of services within the Windows Server 2012 environment.

This course is also for students who are seeking the Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certification and who want to prepare for Exam 70-412: Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services.This course covers Microsoft Office Specialist Program exam objectives to help you prepare for the Access Expert (Office 363 and Office 2019): Exam MO-500 certification.

Target Student

This course is designed for IT professionals who have System Administration experience, who can implement, manage, and maintain a Windows Server (Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012) infrastructure at the enterprise level, and who want to gain the skills and knowledge required to carry out advanced management and provisioning of services within the Windows Server 2012 environment.

This course is also for students who are seeking the Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certification and who want to prepare for Exam 70-412: Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services.

Pre-requisites

To ensure your success in this course, you should have experience working in a Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, or 2012 enterprise environment, including the implementation, management, and configuration of Active Directory and networking infrastructures.

You should also know how to install, configure, and administer Windows Server 2012. To gain this prerequisite knowledge, you can take the following Logical Operations courses:
