COBIT Overview
ISACA has recently introduced an update to its COBIT 5 framework. COBIT 2019 as it is known, is aimed at ensuring enterprises develop, implement and organize governance strategies that are more collaborative, flexible and address new and evolving technologies.
COBIT 5 focused on five key elements that seemed to be unique from one another. COBIT 2019, however concentrates on the way these elements work together. In the latest iteration of COBIT, each component includes several governance principles as well as how to effectively set up a control system.
The evolution of Information Technology has gone far beyond being an ordinary tool for businesses to make use of. IT practices have been the necessary foundation for several enterprises regardless of their industry or size. While several organizations fail to optimize the capabilities of their IT practices that can leave a business static and making it highly vulnerable to become obsolete; there is an urgent need for the development and management of internal controls and essential levels of security to cope up with the trends.
Torque IT’s COBIT 5 and COBIT 2019 training and certification will provide enterprises and professionals with knowledge and skills to implement the latest methodologies within the COBIT framework to enhance data security and assist in removing the silos within IT and business goals and help increase a company’s market value.
