Introduction
The AgileBA Practitioner level qualification ensures a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Agile Business Analysis guidance to apply and tailor it to a given scenario situation.

Pre-requisites
Students will be required to complete pre-course reading prior to their attendance to ensure that they are prepared for the course. Students should receive their courseware two weeks prior to the start date of the course. It is therefore encouraged that students read, and familiarize themselves with, the AgileBA® Handbook prior to the start of the course. Whilst attending the course students should also be prepared to complete evening work.
Pre-requisites accepted to be eligible to take the Practitioner examination:
- AgileBA Foundation certificate
The Practitioner examination aims to measure whether the candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Agile Business Analysis guidance to apply and tailor it to a given scenario situation.
Course objectives
After completing this course, students will learn:
- How to apply the underpinning philosophy and principles of the DSDM Agile Project Framework
- How to appropriately configure the processes of an Agile project to a given scenario
- How to produce and evaluate the content of BA-produced Agile products produced during an Agile project in a given scenario
- How to apply a variety of Agile practices in a project, e.g. Facilitated Workshops, MoSCoW Prioritisation, Iterative Development and Modelling
- To understand the roles and responsibilities within an Agile project and the different levels of empowerment.
- How to test, estimate and evaluate benefits delivery in an Agile project
- The mechanisms for facilitation and support within an Agile project
- The Agile approach to managing and prioritising requirements.

Associated certifications and exam
This course prepares students to write the APMG’s Exam EP-ABAP: AgileBA Practitioner exam. Exam Format is 2½ hours, multiple choice questions, 4 questions per paper, 20 marks available per question, 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50% & an open book (restricted to the official manual only) examination. The delivery method of the exam is Proctor-Led & Computer-Based.
On successful completion of this course students will receive a Torque IT attendance certificate.
